Stripe - Refund a mistaken purchase to a customer
Sometimes a player might accidentally make a purchase of points at the wrong club, and it is then possible to refund this in the following way
To refund the amount to the player, you need the following information from them:
- Union number or email address (to find them in your admin system)
- Date of purchase
- The amount purchased for
- The last 4 digits of the player's credit card.
Login to your Stripe account/portal and click on Payments:
Here you can search by date, amount, etc.
Once the transaction is found, a refund can take place.
After refund, admin.GolfNext.eu is opened
Search for the player by DGU number and make a minus top-up on the amount, thereby removing the purchase from the customer's GolfNext account.
Tell the customer that the money will be returned within a few days.
