How to deactivate buggy rental on the GolfNext kiosk

You can easily disable buggy rentals on the machine, even if you are not physically present at the club.

This is useful in cases where the course is closed due to damage or weather conditions, which often happens early in the morning.

To disable buggy rentals, log in to the administration panel at admin-kiosk.golfnext.com in your browser.

Go to Settings > Kiosk > Rental 

From here, you can deactivate the entire rental category – the change takes effect immediately.

In cases where only one of the courses is closed for buggy driving, you can instead use the 'Blacklisted resources' function and select one or more specific courses.

It is recommended to combine the closure with a Notification at the top of the screen (under the 'Notifications' section) to explain to players why buggies are unavailable.

Equally important, you should review GolfBox (or your designated buggy rental system)for any existing buggy reservations and contact those who have booked a car, both for the current day and any future dates.

The steps above ensure that buggies cannot be rented at the machine itself, but it is also important to close for rentals in GolfBox or whichever system you might use for your buggy management. In golfbox - this can be done by simply changing the number of available buggies to 0; this is managed in GolfBox under Club/Finance/Inventory.
