Update of Valina payment terminal - New teleload. 

Your Valina terminal needs a new update, and has not been able to fetch this automatically. To force this update please follow the instructions below.

THIS PROCEDURE IS ONLY TO BE USED IF INSTRUCTED BY GolfNext STAFF

Feel free to call us to assist you through this procedure - or give it a go yourself.

The update will take about 2 x 15 mins total, and we recommend that you find a convenient time of the day for this, and prepare some buckets of golf balls for 30 mins use, as the machine will be down during the update.

Step 1: Access to the admin menu

  • Press the big 'G' in the GolfNext logo for more than 3 seconds

  • Enter '0000' and press and hold the red back button image.png until you see a new PIN request

  • Enter the following PIN 'time+date' where 'time' is the hour ('12' if the time is 12:37) and 'date' is the date of the month ('22' if the date is 22. of May). So if the time is 12:37 on 22. May you must enter '1222' as the PIN.

  • Press OK, and enter the TERMINAL MENU

Step 2: First Teleload

  • Press the following menu:

    • 3 TERMINAL SETUP

    • 10 (0) NEXT

    • 9 TECHNICIAN ONLY

      • Enter code '1235789' and OK

    • 1 TERM. MANAGEMENT

    • 2 NEW TELELOAD

    • 1 NEW TELELOAD

      • Enter code '1235789' and OK

    • 1 TAMS FILE SERVER and OK

    • Press stop several (5) times until you get a black screen where the teleload start. ('PLEASE WAIT')

  • This procedure will take up to 15 minutes and you can leave the machine while teleload is running.

  • If you do, please ensure that golf players do not have access to the terminal and machine.

Step 3: Second Teleload

  • After the first teleload has succeeded, please repeat the above instructions once more.

 

Your terminal has now been updated to the latest operating system, and will automatically benefit from new GolfNext updates with error corrections, enhancements, new features etc.
